One of my recipes to ponder
Just to ponder.................
As we go through life we meet people that we trust and love.
At first it is our parents.
They love us unconditionally and will guide us on our journey to adulthood.
They are responsible for forming and shaping us into the people that we will become.
Not to be just like them or have the same family life that they had but to have our childhood be a wonderful experience that someday we will look back upon with a smile that just slides across our face.
Many choices will face us. If we have been equipped with the skills to make mature decisions and have been guided with a structured hand we will make the correct choices throughout life. If a child is not nurtured in the direction of self confidence and success they will never feel the confidence in themselves to succeed.

40 Wonderful Years
To mark 40 wonderful years with Tiger, I thought that I would post a few poems that have meaning to us.
Love you Tiger.....still after all these years.......
My Love For You
Such innocent love so young so new,
Tender and gentle while I was with you
We grew and love deepened with each passing year,
Holding me close, pulling me near.
Now as our lives are slower and gray,
I love you the same, that old tender way.
The following poem is so true, and I am lucky enough to never have lost my first love.
First Love
The sweetness of first love will always be on your lips.
Even as the days pass and his form becomes a shadow, the taste will remain.
Never will it be so sweet.
Others will brush your life and some will brighten your days but in your heart one remains,
never to be replaced.

Snow Touched Beach
A cold, crisp chill filled the air on a deserted Falmouth beach this January, 2009 weekend.
The mocha colored sand mixed with newly fallen snow gave the appearance of spilled latte all over the shore.
This boat seems to be waiting for the thaw and the sandy feet climbing aboard to hark the beginning of another warm, wonderful summer!
