Sidewalks of Dublin

Candids of the locals.

A young Italian boy singing in the streets of Dublin.

The sidewalks of Dublin are full of wonderful, interesting people. Musicans, young girls on a shopping trip, flower ladies and the locals gathered around the statue of James Joyce.

40 Wonderful Years

To mark 40 wonderful years with Tiger, I thought that I would post a few poems that have meaning to us.
Love you Tiger.....still after all these years.......

My Love For You
Such innocent love so young so new,
Tender and gentle while I was with you

We grew and love deepened with each passing year,
Holding me close, pulling me near.

Now as our lives are slower and gray,
I love you the same, that old tender way.

The following poem is so true, and I am lucky enough to never have lost my first love.

First Love
The sweetness of first love will always be on your lips.
Even as the days pass and his form becomes a shadow, the taste will remain.
Never will it be so sweet.
Others will brush your life and some will brighten your days but in your heart one remains,
never to be replaced.

Do you think we can spring this joint?

Spring's Wonder

A simple walk with two of the wonderful men in my life, Tiger and Nolan, brought such beauty.
Right before our eyes the certainty of Spring was apparent.
We are now longing for warm summer days and cool ocean breezes.

March...in like a lion, hopefully out like a lamb

March in Falmouth was a very wintry experience. Lonely seagulls wishing for the discards of sun worshipers and not the bite of snow on their feathers as they search for nourishment.

Ward's Dump Truck

Memories of ocean breezes and laughing children fill my thoughts with warmth as I sit upon an icy deck, the freeze of winter to carry.
